Uno Chicago Grill began in 1943 when Ike Sewell opened a restaurant at the corner of Ohio and Wabash in Chicago. Ike redefined pizza by creating a deep dish crust and filling it with huge quantities of the freshest ingredients. The Chicago Deep Dish was born and the rest is legend. In recent years, Uno has successfully expanded customers’ perceptions of our restaurants. We have gone from a place with “great pizza” to a full service restaurant where customers can enjoy a wide range of tempting appetizers, main dishes, beverages, and desserts.
