The Hereford House was originally opened next to the stockyards, in October 1957. In November 1987, Rod Anderson purchased the Hereford House and has overseen its operation ever since. We have celebrated our 50th anniversary and look forward to continuing the great tradition of serving absolutely the best steak in Kansas City, we guarantee it! Loved it-had the 49.00 dinner for two and so appreciated it!! Was delicious
We had a very nice time. My husband and the bone in ribeye and it was excellent. I opted for a filet that was a little more med-well than my med-rare preference but still very good. I dined with two small children and the service staff was very accommodating to the children. Kids loved their french fries and stole a bite or two our steaks and said....next time we're ordering the STEAK!
The cedar-planked salmon was far beyond my expectations for a steakhouse. I would definitely recommend it to any salmon lover.
