Our trivia
quiz this month revolves around some of the best places in
town to enjoy music with your meal. If you don’t already know the
answers, just find them on our web site. Answer all the questions
correctly by May 12, and your name will be put in the drawing

1. You’re in the mood for a great steak, the
perfect wine, and some smooth Kansas City live jazz. This place has
a longtime reputation as home to some of the best jazz musicians in
town, seven nights a week – and stocks over 700 wines to enhance

branch, and Reverse Happy Hour Sunday through Thursday from 9 PM to
close in its Northland location. Lively Celtic music and the best
Irish brews make the perfect atmosphere every day!
4. You want to go strictly first class?
This luxurious lounge in one of the top hotels in KC offers a
variety of live music five nights a week, a spectacular view of the
Country Club Plaza, and a Vintage Cocktail Hour and Wine of the Week
from 6-9 PM at vintage prices!
5. This just may be everyone’s favorite
bar and grill in KC, just because it’s so darn comfortable and the
music’s always good. Hit it for the Mid-Day Happy Hour from 4-7PM
and Happy Hour Menu --- Southwest Chicken Egg rolls,
Mini-Cheeseburgers with Caramelized Onions, Ballpark Cheese Nachos,
and Jalapeno & Cheese Stuffed Pretzels! Locations on the Plaza and
in Zona Rosa Shopping Center up north offer late night price breaks
on drinks.
6. Local and national live entertainment
and DJs are on board seven nights a week at this Westport bar ---
and staff is happy to make you pizzas, pastas, sandwiches and
antipasti the way you like it. Happy Hour is extended from 3-10 PM

3. O’Dowd’s Little Dublin Irish Ale House
& Pub offers all sorts of fine Irish fare and the best beers in
town, along with Celtic music to make you feel like doing an Irish
Jig! Enjoy Happy Hour and Reverse Happy Hour, drink specials and
great atmosphere at the Zona Rosa pub (I-29 and Barry Road in NKC),
and O’Dowd’s late night Pub Grub menu after 10 at the Plaza location
(4742 Pennsylvania).

Bar Lounge in the Intercontinental Kansas City at the Plaza offers
different kinds of live music five nights a week, and a long list of
specialty martinis. Refined, yet so inviting and relaxing … the
perfect place for music and drinks on the Plaza!
5. Tomfooleries Restaurant & Bar (612
West 47th on the Plaza, and in Zona Rosa Shopping Center
at I-219 and Barry Road in North Kansas City) combines great comfort
food with good music and reasonably priced drinks. It’s also known
for its excellent Sunday brunch, and kids’ menu for family days.

place where KC night owls go to roost! You’ll see some great local
